"SPECULAR REFLECTIONS: THE MIRROR IN MEDIEVAL AND EARLY MODERN CULTURE"
INTRODUCTION
The Early Romance Studies Research Cluster, along with the Committee for Medieval Studies at the University of British Columbia, welcomes you to the 40th Annual UBC Medieval Workshop, to be held on Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th of March 2012.

The conference will be held at Green College, one of the UBC graduate residences, nestled on a forested cliff overlooking ocean and mountains at the edge of our campus in Vancouver, Canada.

UPDATES
SPRING 2011: Our keynote speakers have been confirmed: Suzanne Conklin Akbari (University of Toronto) and Tom Conley (Harvard University).
MARCH 2011: The Call for Papers has just been published.
AUGUST 2011: The deadline for the submission of proposals (1 August 2011) has now passed.
FALL 2011: Decisions have been made, proposals accepted and rejected.
DECEMBER 2011:
The provisional programme is now available.
